Bavaria Film Group Subsidiaries Sign Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion

Five subsidiaries of the Bavaria Film Group – including Bavaria Entertainment, Bavaria Fiction, Saxonia Media, Story House Productions, and Satel Film – have signed a voluntary commitment initiated by ProQuote Film. The aim is to structurally strengthen diversity, equality, and inclusion in the film and television industry.

The commitment is based on four key pillars: a ceiling quote, diversity monitoring, safe working environments, and inclusive storytelling. It was first introduced during the 2025 ProQuote Film Congress held at the Berlinale.

The Bavaria Film Group has already implemented numerous initiatives to promote diversity and participation in recent years, including a dedicated Diversity & Inclusion Manager, internal networks, training workshops, and the establishment of a Diversity Circle with representatives from all subsidiaries. By signing the commitment, the group reaffirms its dedication to an inclusive and forward-looking media landscape.
